Hoops for heart- Week of February 10th

INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN! -Students should go through our stretching routine. (Hurdle stretch, right leg, left leg touch, butterflies, right arm left arm across, right arm left arm back, 20 situps, 20 pushups and then 40 jumping jacks. Then students can choose an activity that gets their heart rate going for 20 minutes. There are so many options for students to have fun and get the exercise their body needs.

DIGITAL LEARNING PLAN
Choose an activity from one of the days
Day 1- Watch a TV program during every commercial do 10 burpees.
Day 2-Hold a plank as long as you can. Repeat 3 times.
Day 3-20 squats, 20 lunges, 20 high knees
Day 4-Find any type of ball and play catch with a family member. Remember to use your hands "Diamond"
Day 5-Blow up a balloon and see how many times you can keep it up in the air without it touching the ground.
Day 6-Create a new game that we could play during PE
Day 7-Create a dance routine to your favorite song
Day 8-Crazy 8's. 8 jumping jacks, frog jumps,vertical jumps and repeat 3 times.
Day 9-Underhand toss- Find an empty laundry basket or bucket. Practice tossing a small object inside. Each time you make it take a step back.
Day 10-Write down as many active words as you can think of
Day 11-45 seconds plank, 20 squats,2 burpees
Day 12-Do our classroom warmup plan
Day 13-Build a fort on your couch or chair
Day 14- 15 squats, 15 lunges, 30 second crab walk
