Wi-Fi for Summer

Wi-Fi for Summer
Posted on 05/23/2020

There is exciting news to share. The Douglas County School System is partnering with Google to provide Wi-Fi access on some of our buses.  As a pilot for the project, a Wi-Fi bus has been set up at each high school that will provide internet access for our students.  Beginning now, DCSS students and their family members may drive to any of the high schools and log into a filtered internet connection from the parking lot.

A login and password is required to access this internet connection and should only be used by students and their families.  Specific login information has already been provided to DCSS families.  If there are issues, please call the main phone number at the school and report the problem.

The Wi-Fi buses will remain in place at each high school throughout the summer.  It is anticipated that other locations will be added to help our students and families with summer school assignments, college applications, and job searches over the next few months.
